Elementary School Physical Education

  • At KKFS, our Elementary PE program builds a foundation for lifelong health and wellness by helping students develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. Guided by the SHAPE standards, students engage in age-appropriate games and exercises that promote balance, coordination, and cooperation. Beyond skills, they learn the importance of fair play, respect, and healthy habits, setting the stage for an active lifestyle both in and out of school.

Middle School Physical Education

  • In Middle School, the PE program emphasizes skill refinement, personal fitness, and the application of movement strategies across a variety of sports and activities. Following the SHAPE standards, students strengthen their physical literacy while also reflecting on goal setting, perseverance, and teamwork. Through individual challenges and group activities, they learn how to apply fitness concepts to improve their health, while also developing responsibility and respect for themselves and others in competitive and cooperative settings.

High School Physical Education

  • The High School PE program empowers students to take ownership of their personal health and fitness. Grounded in the SHAPE standards, students engage in advanced training, sport-specific skill development, and wellness practices designed to prepare them for an active lifestyle beyond school. They explore concepts such as nutrition, lifelong fitness planning, and the connection between physical and mental well-being. Through leadership opportunities, self-assessment, and teamwork, students reflect on their growth and apply their skills with purpose, ensuring they graduate with the confidence and knowledge to lead healthy, balanced lives.
