Overview
In Middle School, our math program expands on the CCSS foundation by challenging students to move beyond arithmetic and into more abstract concepts such as algebraic reasoning, proportional relationships, geometry, and statistics. Students are encouraged to make connections between mathematical ideas and real-world contexts, while refining their problem-solving and reasoning skills. Collaborative learning, inquiry, and reflection help students strengthen both fluency and conceptual understanding, preparing them for the rigor of high school coursework. By the end of middle school, students should be able to demonstrate progress on the school’s SLOs in Mathematics:
