Overview

The High School science program at KKFS challenges students to apply advanced scientific knowledge and practices in alignment with the NGSS. Coursework includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and opportunities for AP-level study, fostering both depth and breadth of scientific understanding. Students engage in research, laboratory investigations, and project-based learning that emphasize problem-solving, evidence-based reasoning, and global awareness. By applying scientific principles to complex issues, students are empowered to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to an ever-changing world. By the end of High School, students should be able to demonstrate mastery of the school’s SLOs in Science:
